This site came about as a result of my precious dog Tequila running away from our home on November 5 2011 due to fire cracker activities in the neighbourhood on Guy Fawkes day. Trying to find him I can honestly say were some of the most traumatising experiences I have ever had, not to mention how traumatised he was by the whole affair as well. At least our story had a happy ending but we were very, very lucky to get Tequila back after just a few days. Most other dogs are not that lucky.

Not only are there dogs that are never found, there are also those dogs who do get found and are taken to animal shelters but are never claimed by their owners. This site is dedicated to those pets that never get reunited with their owners. It was heart-wrenching for me to be able to take my Tequila home and to have to leave all of those other ones there.

I hope with this site to be able to assist other people who’s animals go astray for whatever reason; to be able to get the word out to as many people as they can about their missing pets and to help them get reunited as soon as possible. If I can save just one pet from going through something like this, or help just one owner get their pet back, this site will have been worth it a thousand times.

There are a lot of people who are not sure about what to do to try and find their pets when they go missing. I hope that the information at this site will enable you do your utmost to get your pet back.
